I wanted to mention some upcoming lectures that either I will be presenting or attending or perhaps even just supporting!
First up, I will be giving a lecture at Columbia University on April 11th for the Columbia University Implant Technology Symposium Sponsored by Biomet 3i “Integrating Developing Technologies into your Implant Practice.”
I am scheduled to speak from 1-2pm on “Laboratory Perspective.” This presentation will discuss the latest advances in ceramic materials and review preparation and application techniques. The need for accurate communication and documentation between the clinician and the technician will be explained, with an emphasis on digital information and impressing taking, planning and sequencing. Participants will learn:
-to understand the capabilities and applications of materials
-the importance of direct consultation with the ceramist
-to recognize the complexities at an early stage to avoid later complications.
You can learn more about the entire Symposium on Columbia's website HERE.
I will also be sponsoring the Aesthetic Advantage Hands on Event beginning April 4th, which takes place at The Rosenthal Institute New York University College of Dentistry on 345 East 24th Street, in NYC. The 5-day program is spread over two weekends and its focus is comprehensive aesthetic and restorative care. It's an incredible opportunity to literally learn over the shoulder of some of the most esteemed folks in the field of oral design. Check out more on the event in their online brochure HERE.

And looking ahead into the month of May, I want to make sure everyone know about the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry's event in Orlando.
More than 1,200 AACD Members have registered and I highly recommend it, especially to hear my good friends and esteemed colleagues of the Rosenthal / Apa group. Dr. Michael Apa will be speaking on Saturday May 3 8:30-11:30am, and I encourage you not to miss this great opportunity to learn from one of the best!
