Jason J Kim, CDT, Founder and President of JK Dental Laboratory Services, Inc, is a Certified Dental Technician.
His extensive knowledge in the field has made him one of the most revered master ceramists in NYC. But his work isn't relegated to his labs alone. Jason is an educator, and his invaluable teachings have been imparted on countless students and professional colleagues in places of higher learning and beyond. Jason is known as one of the preeminent instructors of advanced oral design techniques in the world. He is a Clinical Assistant Professor at the prestigious New York University College of Dentistry, where he regularly lectures.
Also in New York, he offers a number of courses throughout the year at his own laboratory, meant to teach accurate communication and documentation between the clinician in the dental practice and the technician in the dental laboratory. His 8 part course, "Mastering Efficiency In Aesthetic Dentistry" continues to draw students from all over the tri state to learn hands on about case assessment, planning and sequencing, as well as the latest advancements in ceramic materials and preparation/application techniques.
To ensure his skills can be made available beyond the east coast, he also lectures nationally and internationally to his professional colleagues at centers of higher learning and professional symposia. He has lectured and given hands on workshops for Aesthetic Advantage, NYU Dental Extravaganza, Jensen Dental Education Day, American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry, Columbia University College of Dental Medicine, The New York Dental Forum, and many more.
