A Model, A Master Ceramist & A Celebrity Stylist at Ted Baker

Last week I had the wonderful opportunity to meet with a celebrity stylist at the ultra hip Ted Baker store in the Meatpacking District!

The reason for the visit was to get ready for a big photo shoot we have planned later this month for our soon to be revamped website.

Stylist Pilar Steinborn chose a number of chic looks for the shoot that range from casual daytime to classic evening wear.

What's wonderful about Pilar is her ability to bring out your own personality through the clothes she chooses. I told her I felt like it's similar to the way I think about the work I do as a Master Ceramist, when trying to create the smile for my clients that showcases their best selves!

Also on hand was a client of mine who happens to be a professional model, Bridgette. She will be at our shoot as well and we wanted to get her some great looks!

It was such a pleasure to mix Bridgette's gorgeous smile with the high end clothes Ted Baker creates himself.

The TED Baker store in the MP district of NYC is ultra chic! It's so creative and modern! The decorations are so eclectic and the walls are from the original meatpacking plant that once stood there! If you have a chance to check it out on Little West 12th Street you, absolutely should!

I was quite impressed with all the looks there and will definitely be making Ted Baker a top designer in my closet!

We had cameras shooting our entire experience and will soon have a video up on my YouTube site.

When you leave the store this happy, you know you've come to the right place!

A Hollywood Smile

Many clients today look to the magazine covers of their favorite celebrities to find inspiration for the kind of smile they want. Often those images are photoshopped, and the whiteness of the teeth are not within the range of normal whites. Still, this look is a trend that many find fashionable, and as a master ceramist it's my job to find some kind of balance to maintain beauty when a client wishes to achieve this look.  Watch my video below for more thoughts on the Hollywood Smile.

The Right Shade of White

There's no such thing as 1 size fits all in this world - and when it comes to the color of your teeth there's no one white fits all either! Part of the artistry of my profession as a Master Ceramist is having a keen eye for what shade of white is best for you when you take into consideration the shape of your face, the placement of your teeth and even the characteristics of your personality. Check out the video below to hear more about the process of choosing the right color ceramics for your dental restoration.
