As you all are well aware I am a huge art and music enthusiast. It's why I am so excited for this upcoming event! I am sponsoring an incredibly talented young musician from Korea to play at Carnegie Hall!

       Jay Young Oh has performed extensively in recitals throughout most of the major cities in the U.S. including  Los Angeles, Chicago, Denver, Atlanta, Washington D.C, San Francisco, Dallas, and of course New York. He has also performed in cities around the world, including Berlin, Frankfurt Vienna, Lyons, Paris, London, Vancouver, Sydney, Tokyo, Osaka, Lima, and Beijing.

Supporting the arts is a passion of mine, and this young musician is a talent worth seeing!

The Jensen Dental Education Day

From The Big Apple to The Windy City! Heading west to do a table demo for The Jensen Dental Education Day at the Swissotel in Chicago Friday Feb 21st.!

It's yet another wonderful opportunity to meet the leaders in the field of oral design and spread the knowledge of the artistry and science of our work.

My table demo will focus on a Simple Porcelain Veneer build-up technique utilizing platinum foil.

My goal is to demonstrate how to make even the most challenging veneer cases come alive, simply. For many, perfect veneer work is limited by the preparation and tooth shade. For others, the ability to create awe inspiring veneers can be demonstrated during even the most challenging of circumstances. I'll share essential tips and techniques for successful case planning beginning with the model preparation to the final restoration.

Class Dismissed!

What a wonderful conclusion to my 8 part course "Mastering Efficiency in Aesthetic Dentistry."

Just wanted to share these pictures from our graduation class! So proud of everyone who devoted so much time to the craft of oral design. It was no easy task and we covered a lot of ground, but I'm confident the lessons were absorbed and will be a great benefit to the field at large! Congratulations to all who completed the courses! NYU February Lecture Dates

Before I take part in the NYU Dental Extravaganza in March, I have 2 scheduled lectures that I am really looking forward to.

On both February 11 and February 18, 2014 8-9am I will be lecturing for the New York University College of Dentistry Implant Department on the subject of Implant Supported full Arch Restoration and Ceramics.

My work as a Clinical Assistant Professor at the New York University College of Dentistry is so important to me. I believe you should never be selfish with the teachings your have been given, and should spread them to the next generation of innovators in your field.

I feel so lucky that from 1994 to 1997,  I was fortunate enough to study under Master Ceramist Willi Geller, founder of the world-renowned Oral Design International Foundation. I offer courses at my own laboratory, but I think it's important to to also reach out to the young minds that are still working on degrees and to give back to the educational institutions. They are the future of this craft and I hope I can be a positive influence in their careers!
